  1. Prepare 1 cup roasted gram (bhuna channa) without skin
  2. Get 3/4 cup sugar
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup ghee
  4. Get 1 tablespoon skinned almond powder
  5. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  6. Take 4 almonds (chopped) to garnish

  1. Grind the roasted gram in mixer to a very fine and smooth powder which will have same texture of dry besan.
  2. Take out in a bowl, then grind sugar to a fine powder. Now combine all the ingredients except ghee and cardamom powder, and grind again to a smooth powder.
  3. Take this mix in a bowl, then add cardamom powder and ghee. With the help of a flat spoon, back of a steel katori or spatula, rub in the ghee into the mixture for 7-8 minutes.
  4. When the ghee coats the powdered mix completely, it will have reached same texture like cooked Laddu mix. At this stage, take out a lemon sized portion and roll out in smooth laddu.
  5. Repeat till all the laddus are made. Then decorate with almond pieces and serve for any special occasion or just like that.
