  1. Take the Jaggery in a sauce pan and heat up for a min or two and switch off the flame.
  2. Add the milk to it and stir till the jaggery is dissolves completely. Strain the Jaggery in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, vanilla essence and mix well.
  4. Add the flour, Semolina, baking powder and baking soda over the wet ingredients and gently fold it and make a smooth batter without lumps.
  5. Take ½ tsp flour in a small bowl and mix all the dry fruit nicely in the flour. Add the dry fruits to the batter reserving some for putting on the top. Mix well.
  6. Grease a cake pan and preheat oven@180 for 10 mins
  7. Pour the batter over the greased cake pan. Sprinkle some dry fruits and nuts on top of the cake.
  8. Bake the cake for 35-40 mins. Start checking from 35 mins. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven, let it cool dowm completely, invert, cut and serve.
